Our poster printers can print posters from a great variety of originals; books, printed
material, photographs up to 8x10, 3-
We offer three types of paper, all of which resist fading and can be heat laminated. We even offer photo paper that will allow you to print out poster size photographs that will look like they were done in a photo lab.
VariQuest Poster Maker 3600
Their machine prints one color at a time on one color of paper. To change the print or paper color, you have to change the supply roll.
Their machine requires the original to feed through the sheet feed scanner. That means that if your original is in a book, you will have to remove the page, or copy it first.
They have two types of paper. Only one of which will resist fading, and can be heat laminated. They have a photo mode that will give you a greyscale poster.
We have three systems to choose from, depending on your needs and your budget. Our
lowest cost system costs thousands less than the VariQuest Poster Maker 3600. Even
our XL model which will print up to 36” wide posters in full-

Our paper costs $39.50 per 100 foot roll. It’s true that our machine uses ink as
well as paper, but our conservative estimate of ink usage is about $18.00 per roll

Their standard paper cannot be laminated unless you use their more expensive cold laminating system, which will cost you an additional $5.00 per poster. Our laminating film costs about .40 cents per poster.
These numbers are based on list prices for supplies and machines. The supplies costs are based on our 24” wide Heavyweight paper, and their 23” paper. We also offer economy paper with an estimated cost of $1.10 per poster. Our economy paper is closer in weight to their paper, but we find that most of our customers prefer our heavyweight paper. Don’t forget, we also have photo paper for our machine. The per poster cost would be around $3.29, including ink. That’s still less than their permanent paper.
